Paul, John, Ringo, George.
Who can forgot foursome and their feverish music?
Not Westminster.
This week’s outdoor concert will feature Beatles tribute band, Abbey Road.
With its tight harmonies, flawless note-for-note renditions of Beatles hits, custom–tailored costumes, vintage instruments, Liverpulian dialect and precise attention to every detail, Abbey Road has honed their show to become one of the most musically and visually satisfying Beatle tribute acts in the world.
The concert will take place Aug. 18 from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. in the Civic Center Sunken Gardens at 8200 Westminster Blvd. in Westminster.
Concertgoers may bring a picnic dinner or enjoy the delicious food items sold by Islands hot dogs and Mustache Mike’s Italian Ice. All concerts will include children’s activities and games.
The city thanks its sponsors for their generous donations: Midway City Sanitary District and Grocery Outlet.
Oh, and ladies. Please don’t rush the stage and mob the musicians…
